Don’t Get Stressed About Your Statutory Stuff

The information here is important.
We hope you’ll read it and stay informed with the changes we are introducing to the Statutory work we currently do for you. You can put your head in the sand, but we don’t think that’s a good idea.
As most of you know, Slater has been fully cloud based for many years. We were one of the first accounting firms in NZ to do a total conversion to cloud based technology and Xero over 6 years ago. You’ve told us you’re glad we did. Our use of cloud technology extends to all aspects of our practice and your work. Just about all your files and hard copy information is held in the cloud. Whatever you give us we scan and return, (or if no longer required we scan and destroy securely.)
We’ve also moved from NZPost to efficient couriers with signed delivery, and packets, boxes and wrapping to make sure what you get back is safe and undamaged. We use recycled paper and you can elect to have electronic versions if that’s what you prefer.
We’ve always been motivated to deliver our clients the very best modern solutions.
So today, we hold absolutely no original client documents, for more than a few weeks before sending them off to their homes.
Of course we still take interim custody of documents in your business life, but we’re aware that the ultimate responsibility rest with clients. As your trusted advisor we try to facilitate that the best we can.
Statutory is now introducing Connectworks for all your trust and company documents. It’s a great program, much like Xero. We’ve found it to be the very best and so we’re using it to help you, our clients, stay up to date.
So…don’t stress about your statutory. Stay informed. It’s your Statutory stuff. and it needs to stay up to date.
