    1. Statutory Ltd. (a division of Slater Chartered Accountants) regards customer privacy as an important part of our relationship with our customers. The following privacy policy applies to all Statutory users, and conforms to Internet privacy standards.   2. Collection of Information
    1. In order to use the Statutory website, we may require information from you in order to provide the best service possible. All correspondence may also be collected and stored, particularly in regard to sales, support and accounts, including Email. Any information collected by Statutory Ltd. is collected via correspondence from you or your company. This may be via the telephone, Email, mail, fax or directly through our website.
  3. Use of Collection Information
    1. Any details collected from Statutory Ltd. customers is required in order to provide you with our products and/or services, and a high level of customer service. Correspondence is recorded in order to provide service references, and to assist in our staff development.

    1. Some Statutory Ltd. (https://statutory.co.nz/) web pages use ‘cookies’, which are small files that may be placed on your hard disk for record-keeping purposes. When Credit Card details are collected, we simply pass them on in order to be processed as required. We never permanently store complete Credit Card details.

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If we make material changes to this popcy, we will notify you here, by Email, or by means of a notice on our homepage.
  13. Cancellation of your Statutory Subscription
    1. payment for you Statutory subscription is due on April 1 each year. Any cancellation of subscription will take effect on March 31 (last day of financial year) in which the cancellation has been implemented. partial annual refund on a month by month basis is outside of the terms of the Statutory subscription payment policy and will not be activated at any time. If you choose to cancel your subscription at any time, the continuation of the work associated with that subscription will be determined on a case by case basis in accordance with negotiations with Statutory management.   14. Statutory File
    1. The customer has web access to their Statutory file. In cases where there is not web access to the Statutory file, these will be returned to the client or forwarded on to the new accountant as lier arrangement.
  15. Currency
    1. All prices on the Statutory.co.nz website are shown in NZ dollars only.
  16. Statutory Ltd. Security policy
    1. Statutory Ltd.’s website, https://statutory.co.nz uses the eWAY payment Gateway for its online credit card transactions.
    2. eWAY processes online credit card transactions for thousands of New Zealand merchants, providing a safe and secure means of collecting payments via the Internet.
    3. All online credit card transactions performed on this site using the eWAY gateway are secured payments.
    4. payments are fully automated with an immediate response.
    5. Your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by Statutory or any outside party.
    6. All transactions are performed under 128 Bit SSL Certificate.
    7. All transaction data is encrypted for storage within eWAY’s bank-grade data centre, further protecting your credit card data.
    8. eWAY is an authorised third party processor for all the major New Zealand banks.
    9. eWAY at no time touches your funds; all monies are directly transferred from your credit card to the merchant account held by statutory.co.nz

Delivery Policy

  1. Delivery of Services
    1. After ordering online, you will receive an email confirmation from eWAY containing your order details (if you have provided your email address). We will normally confirm receipt of your order within a few minutes of ordering. We will attempt to send your software/license/access code via email within the next working day. If you wish to query a delivery please contact us at info@statutory.co.nz.
  2. Terms of Trade
    1. All invoices are payable in advance. If the invoice is not paid within 30 days after the due date and the work – has been performed by us and is completed for you, our debt recovery agency charge you collection costs of at least 25% of the unpaid portion of the price, but not less than $100.00. Where the total agency, legal and other costs arising from recovery of any amount owing exceeds the debt recovery fee charged, our agent is also entitled to recover such additional costs from you. This clause is intended to be for the benefit of and be enforceable by our debt recovery agency under the Contracts (privacy) Act 1982.
    2. You agree to indemnify Statutory Ltd. against all costs, whether commission, legal fee or otherwise, incurred by you or your duly authorised agents relating to any moneys, goods and services that may be outstanding from time to time pursuant to the terms of this agreement. Any costs whatsoever not recoverable from the invoiced entity will be personally recoverable from the instructing person requesting the work/invoice.
    3. You agree that the terms of trade are strictly settlement on or before the start of work for you and Statutory Ltd. will be entitled to charge interest at the rate of 24% per annum (2 % per month) on all amounts that have not been paid in full by the commencement of the work done for you, or from due date of the invoice should forward calculation of the invoice not be practical. These interest costs are additional to any collection costs.
    4. Any costs incurred in the collection of payment will be your responsibility.
